Ms Boikhutso is a strategy, business improvement and change specialist of note having worked in the professional services industry in these areas for over 18 years. She has unparalleled leadership, executive and management experience across the various sectors as well as considerable business and industry knowledge and expertise.

She started her career at Nedcor Bank as a human resources consultant where she earned a reputation for leadership in people management, in particular change management and organisation development. She joined KMMT as a Management Consultant in 2000 and spent 2 years managing numerous business strategy, business process improvement, organisation development, change management, performance management and transformation projects. She was at the end of 2001, appointed as the Transformation Director at KMPG to drive the firm’s transformation process. During her tenure, she developed a comprehensive transformation strategy that positioned the firm as an industry leader in transformation, established implementation and monitoring structures, including a Transformation Advisory Board and developed and implemented BEE policies. She left KPMG in 2003 and joined Maxima Global Consulting to establish and lead the Human Capital Division of the business. In 2006 she was appointed as the Group Chief Executive of the business to head all operations nationally. During her tenure, she structured the business to be more responsive to the market and further accelerate business growth. She left Maxima Global in 2009 and established Alona Consulting and later on Alona Group.

She serves on a number of boards of companies, both listed and unlisted. These include Tsebo Outsourcing Group, Tsebo Holdings and Operations, Verifone Africa, Sebata Group of Companies, Sasol Inzalo Public Funding and JSE listed Sasol Inzalo Public Limited. She chairs the Social and Ethics Committees at Sasol Inzalo Public Limited, Verifone Africa and Sebata Group. She holds a Masters degree in Social Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.

She has undying passion for leadership development. In 2007, she pioneered an Annual International Leadership Conference centred on the concept of “Legacy Leadership”, in partnership with the University of Johannesburg. The first conference themed “The 360-degree Leader” featured the world- renowned leadership guru, Dr John C Maxwell. She has been featured, along with many other global leaders, in Dr John C Maxwell’s book “Put Your Dream to the Test” and has also been invited by academic institutions such as the University of the Witwatersrand and Gordon Institute of Business Science to deliver papers on Change Management, Performance Management and Productivity Management.
